  • Montefiore Medical Center - the $3.1 billion not-for-profit hospital in the Bronx, NY, with three campuses, four acute-care facilities, 21 primary care offices and more than 17,000 employees.
     

    • Once the Children’s Hospital was off and running and its new website was live and generating positive exposure – the focus turned to a complete overhaul of the corporate medical center’s website.
       

    • At the time, the hospital’s main website was relatively unchanged since 1998.
       

    • Each profile was carefully mapped and researched, gauging each click and page to minimize the number of steps necessary to find information.
       

    • As with the Children’s Hospital website, we developed user profiles to create the user experience for a variety of potential user types – current or future patient, clinician, family member, donor, etc.
       

    • A new structure was needed for this site as it had to provide information for the entire health system – so we selected a more simple approach with a calming warm color scheme to allow the content to carry the weight.
       

    • Thousands of pages of content needed total overhaul – requiring numerous meetings and consultations with Department Chairs and staff, along with all the numerous constituencies at the hospital.
       

    • The end result was a clean simple website that provided visitors with all the information and actions steps needed when interacting with Montefiore.
       

    • Awards Won: Best Website - International Summit Creative Award; Best Website - Crystal Communicator Award
